Leopard's Terminal: New, But Not Improved Enough

Technical

I just finished my Leopard upgrade and, dammit, I like it.  Really.  All the fuss about the dock, all the fuss about the transparent menubar, all the fuss about the lack of curves...poppycock!  I'm a little disappointed with the updates to Terminal, though.  It's new, it's modestly improved, but it's still not as good as iTerm.  In a terminal application, I'm really looking for two features beyond the essentials to make a terminal functional:

  1. Tabs, and
  2. Bookmarks

Leopard added (1), but shafted me on (2).  And I'm sure they were thinking of me when they did it.  Bastards.

As much as I like iTerm, and I really do like it, it's kind of a redundant application (with some very necessary usability enhancements) and I was hoping that Leopard's terminal would improve enough that I reclaim a little space on my hard drive.  But no; I'll be sticking with iTerm until Apple gives me bookmarks to go with my tabs.
