I Was *Just* Thinking That
Yesterday I was combing through all of my aggregated reading that naturally accumulates over the weekend when I like to pretend that I have better things to do. This weekend, of course, included April 1 - April Fools Day. All I kept thinking while I was affecting this comb-over was, "Ugh. April Fools Day is a pain in the arse." I had post-after-post of meaningless garbage and unamusing "jokes". For the most part, the fools weren't worth the aggravation of wading through them.
I will say, though, that I enjoyed the SimpleBits gag. Having heard all the hub-bub around the logo, the coordinated and wide-spread effort to spoof it was pretty entertaining. The organizers did a really nice job. The spoofed logos can be seen in one place on Flickr.
Anyway, today I was doing some reading and ran into this. This is all I'm saying.
